Utopia Review Ad
Our world is mired in chaos, disorder, and endless conflict. We have depleted the planet’s natural resources to a point of scarcity. Wars now threaten to erupt over Earth’s last dwindling  natural resources: fossil fuel, water, arable land, and rare-earth minerals. We have used the fear of mutual assured annihilation by destructive weapons to achieve a tenuous and shaky peace in the world. Our financial institutions are imploding, as nations sink beneath oceans of debt. It is becoming clear that the entire model human civilization was built upon is flawed and destined to soon catastrophically unravel. Is this humanity’s destiny or did we lose our way in a maze of material distractions? We needn’t languish in the shadows of despair, failure, and mediocrity. We can achieve greatness, and bring harmony back to the world by emulating the patterns God has woven into nature. Nature’s patterns are rooted in the science of inclusion, renewal, and compassion.

We have squandered the planet’s resources and wrecked the natural ecology in the process to create unsustainable communities that are now on the verge of unraveling due to civil conflict, high unemployment, disparity, and bankruptcies. Now conflict is becoming pandemic and is erupting over the planet’s last remaining resources: arable lands, fossil fuel, viable trade routes, territorial lines of demarcation, and rare earth metals. Ideological wars are also accelerating the conflict, as century-old archaic institutions act and violently react to the vicissitudes of a changing world. An arms race is growing in the East. Global debt levels are mounting, natural disasters are increasing, infrastructures is crumbling, natural resources are dwindling, and the world is becoming more polarized due to income differences, religious ideologies, race, and culture. We have all the makings of an unprecedented catastrophe unfolding on planet Earth.

      So true…

I hate to sound selfish, but I just can’t believe that I may likely live to witness the end the world or at least, as we know it.

I know the majority of humanity believes we’re superior and immune to all things, but they don’t know how wrong they are. We’re dust in the wind and will sooner or later be blown away. I’m just worried that I’ll live to see it happen.

Humans may very well wipe themselves out just as nature can very likely do the same.

      • Utopia: the Collapse says:

So far, we’re appear to be doing everything wrong at the right time to facilitate a collapse of civilization.

We can only human’s come to their senses before its too late

Between YOU and ME, Alvin, I’m watching Obama’s speech on ISIS (he calls it ISIL as a slight, i think, to Israel). We are going to war in Syria. Unbelievable.
