Le Deplorables: Donald Trump and the populist revolution sweeping America

September 2016WASHINGTON Donald Trump unveiled a new visual campaign theme in Miami on Friday – a mashup of the Broadway musical ‘Les Misérables‘ and an epithet Hillary Clinton leveled at his supporters one week ago. He took the stage, introduced by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, as the ‘Les Miserables’ anthem ‘Do You Hear the People Sing’ blasted through loudspeakers. The video screen behind the podium flashed to an artistic rendering of ‘Les Deplorables’ – pilfered from Reddit – complete with USA and ‘Trump’ flags replacing the French colors, and a bald eagle soaring over the revolutionary scene.
‘Welcome to all of you deplorables!’ Trump boomed as thousands screamed ‘Trump! Trump! Trump!’ and ‘We love you!’ Clinton said ‘half’ of Trump voters belonged in ‘the basket of deplorables’ as ‘racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic [and] Islamaphobic’ Republicans. ‘Some of those folks – they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America,’ Clinton said. His supporters have embraced the Clinton label and worn it as a badge of honor, and in the space of just a few days Trump rally-goers have already begun to sport ‘I am deplorable’ t-shirts and signs.

‘My opponent slanders you as “deplorable” and “irredeemable” – boy that second word is tough,’ he said Friday night. ‘You don’t hear that much. It means you can never come back. I call you hard-working American patriots who love your family,’ he continued, ‘and really, really, really love your country.’ The Reddit user who created the artwork he used Friday, an artist known online as ‘’Keln,’ was banned from using Reddit on Saturday, shortly after posting the image. He has said on other Internet forums that Reddit has yet to reinstate him or offer an explanation. Trump bashed his Democratic opponent’s stamina on Friday and complained about the same scorched-earth campaign style that carried him through the Republican primary season.
He also mocked her reliance on traditional but expensive broadcast advertisements that were the mainstay of every high-profile political campaign before the age of the Internet. ‘Clinton’s entire campaign rests on using a single tactic, and it’s not working very well,’ Trump said. ‘She spent hundreds of millions of dollars on phony campaign ads!’ ‘We’ve spent practically nothing,’ he added. ‘I’m proud of that … and you know what? We’re doing very well. ‘I think we’re actually leading.’ –Daily Mail

Barack Obama challenges Trump: President Barack Obama defied the notion that Donald Trump was leading a populist revolution, quibbling with the media’s branding of the historic rise of the billionaire’s run for president. “Maybe somebody can pull up in the dictionary quickly the phrase ‘populism’ but I’m not prepared to concede the notion that some of the rhetoric that’s been popping up is populist,” Obama said.
The president made his remarks at the end of a press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Enrique Pena Neito after the North America Leaders’ Summit. Obama argued that his 2008 campaign and his entire presidency was more about populism, arguing he cared more about poor people and working people. “I suppose that makes me a populist,” he said confidently.  –Breitbart

Trump rises to the challenge: Love him or hate him, Donald Trump has become the pivotal populist presidential candidate of the century. Like Bernie Sanders, he has come to represent the unspoken voice of the people and while he is no Huey P. Long, he has come to the forefront of American politics by denouncing globalism and trade treaties that economically disembowel industrial nations. Much to the consternation of his critics, and even his own Republican party, he has received a groundswell of support from the so-called disenfranchised, the middle class, the low-wage earners, “the deplorables,” the very people whom most politicians seem to ignore.
Populism is a movement that is sweeping the world. It is not a trend as some politicians mistakenly think. On the contrary, it is a revolution. BREXIT ousted the United Kingdom out of the orbit of the EU and tore it from the despotic clutches of European economic technocrats. It gave the United Kingdom back to the people. BREXIT also energized secession movements across the globe. People are taking back control of their lives by liberating their destiny from the authoritarianism of Big Government. Let’s face it, politicians have failed the people. Globalism and the banking system have riddled the world with debt. Western democracies are facing an existential threat from the rising power of the East. The power dynamics of the world is shifting from the West to the East. Western energy decline is following the same path as morality, economic autonomy, and democratic freedom – we’re seeing less and less of it.

Multinational corporations and big banks don’t give a damn about workers or patriotism. The only god they serve is the “almighty dollar.” Their only rallying point is profits and a continuous rise in stock prices to please their boards – even if that means cutting domestic staff and moving factories oversees in pursuit of ‘slave labor.’ Most U.S. politicians have been bought and paid for by special interest groups and big businesses. Their affluent positions in power, as trolls for globalist and multinational corporations, have placed them out of touch with their national constituency – the very people that elected them to power. Trump has garnered voters’ attention and his support continues to grow because he understands what American politicians don’t seem to get or are unwilling to admit. Americans want their lives, their economic prosperity, their liberty, and their country back.
Even president Barack Obama with his “alleged” 77 million twitter followers can’t dissuade Americans to not vote for the man, Obama himself calls “unfit to be president.” Mitt Romney called Trump “a phony and a fraud.” Colin Powell called him “a national disgrace.” The French president Francois Hollande said Trump makes “you want to retch.” 50 Republican national security advisers said he was bad for “national security.” Yet, the more they disparage him, the higher Donald Trump rises in the polls. What Americans are saying is, “Stop telling us what to do!” Is anybody listening? Like almost no one else in U.S. political history since Lincoln, Trump has come to represent the ultimate “underdog.” His ascent as a U.S. populist politcal champion is fast becoming the stuff of legends. And as his rises, his myth and popularity across America continues to grow.  –Alvin Conway

Well put Alvin! As a citizen of the USA I see this as being our last chance to avoid the globalist take over of the world. The global elite to which the Clintons belong as do other USA politicians need USA to buckle under the weight of oppression that the banksters and UN cronies are attempting to squash the world’s common people into pure slaves and the slaves that are incapable of working for the master will be done away with through euthanasia, abortion, war, and violent riots.
They have attempted to lure us into an amoral, casual style of life that makes people have more interest in pop culture gossip and Pokemon games rather than have us be a free people working hard to build a solid caring and loving community.
One last thought for my fellow USA citizens. A President can only do so much… We NEED to vote for a congress and a senate that will have a similar heart for the common people and the common good.. This IS our last chance. Like Pickett’s charge in Gettysburg; if we do not win with this election it is over.

And these are the people many will vote for because they do not know. We live in the just tell me what I need to know world. And these are the people who will repeat the same mistakes of the past.
This is a very dangerous time. Suppose Donald tTump never thought he would still be in the race at this time? Suppose Donald trump has bitten off more than he can handle? I am not anti-Trump.
He may have accidentally lit a fire and millions of people see him saying what they wish they could and be heard.
He has been accused of racism? A co-worker of mine, who is a woman of color, said that if Donald Trump was elected she was concerned about a racial problem: I said I wasn’t.
If he is true to his word, everyone will benefit.
But, if morals do not turn around, what ever he does, will be successful. There will be resistance, mostly just to be hateful and resist.

Share this with her. Speaking strictly of the Republican Party – most people don’t know that the real political party of racism has always been Democrats, not Republicans. That’s why you can’t believe anything Hillary Clinton says about Trump leading an army of racists. This is more propaganda and disinformation. Democrats are the ones who fought the abolition of slavery in America. Now, Democrats have suddenly become turncoats and are calling Republicans racists. However, look at the history.

Fact: The Republican Party was founded primarily to oppose slavery, and Republicans eventually abolished slavery. The Democratic Party fought them and tried to maintain and expand slavery. The 13th Amendment, abolishing slavery, passed in 1865 with 100% Republican support but only 23% Democrat support in congress. http://russp.us/racism.htm

The Democrat Party’s documented anti civil rights history is quite lengthy. In particular, in 1854, the Democrat Party authored the Kansas-Nebraska Act. This legislation crippled and hindered the liberation of Black Americans, by emboldening the expansion of slavery into the new territories—Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, North Dakota and South Dakota.

      • In 1857, a Democrat controlled Supreme Court delivered the Dred Scott decision, declaring that blacks were not persons or citizens but instead were property and therefore had no rights.
      • The 13th Amendment to abolish slavery was voted for by 100% of the Republicans in congress and by 23% of the Democrats in congress.
      • Not one Democrat either in the House or the Senate voted for the 14th amendment declaring that former slaves were full citizens of the state in which they lived and were therefore entitled to all the rights and privileges of any other citizen in that state.
      • Not a single one of the 56 Democrats in Congress voted for the 15th amendment that granted explicit voting rights to black Americans.
      • In 1866 Democrats formed the Ku Klux Klan to pave the way for Democrats to regain control in the elections.
      • Abraham Lincoln, the president credited with ending slavery in America, ran as a Republican

      • Governor George Wallace, who opposed the integration of blacks into the Alabama school system was a Democrat
      • Orval E. Faubus, the Arkansas governor who opposed the integration of blacks into Central High School in Little Rock was a Democrat. In September 1957 Arkansas Democratic Governor Orval E. Faubus became the national symbol of racial segregation when he used Arkansas National Guardsmen to block the enrollment of nine black students who had been ordered by a federal judge to desegregate Little Rock’s Central High School.
      • Ross Barnett, the governor of Mississippi, who opposed the admission of James Meredith into Ole Miss University in Oxford, Ms. In 1962 because he was black, was also a Democrat.

African Americans should abandon the Democratic Party in droves, considering its own racist history – and Hillary Clinton, has the nerve to call Trump’s followers racists and a basket of deplorables. As I said before, Hillary Clinton is Satan’s own spawn. It’s the racial rhetoric that is stirring up the type of hostility that could have Trump’s safety threatened. The woman is pure evil and is a pathological liar. Now here’s more about Trump’s support, from non-whites.
