World War 3 is on the lips of many, even a White House aide to President Barack Obama

Perilous Days
April 2014WASHINGTONWorld War 3 is on the lips of many, even a White House aide to President Barack Obama, because of the threat Russia poses to Ukraine. But, as one Kremlin-backed journalist recently said, should we be worried about Russia’s nuclear weapons reducing the “United States into radioactive ash?” In a related report by The Inquisitr, Vladimir Putin had a nuclear ICBM test-fired just as he confronted President Obama publicly via the media. After a Russian Black Sea fleet commander issued an ultimatum for war, the Ukrainian military base in the Crimea was surrounded, and the Russians even sunk a ship in order to block the Ukrainian navy from escaping. The Crimiean crisis reached a head when this navy base was invaded. Ever since then, the United States has responded by putting economic pressure on Russia, but others are worried events may escalate out of control. The first major political figure to mention World War 3 was former Ukrainian president Leonid Kravchuk: “They have gone beyond their base and occupied Crimea – it is conquered territory. Russia violated the Budapest Memorandum. Ukraine has every reason to go to international arbitration. I call on the Russian authorities to stop. Between our peoples should not be war. Does Russia not understand that this is the beginning of World War 3?”
The possibility that Russia may not stop at simply annexing Crimea is already being discussed at the White House. Tony Blinken is deputy national security adviser to President Obama. Speaking on the massing of troops along Ukraine’s border, Blinken says “it’s possible they are preparing to move in.” The possibility for World War 3 was touched on when Obama’s aide mentioned that the United States is “looking at providing military assistance to Ukraine” despite saying “it’s very unlikely to change Russia’s calculus and prevent an invasion.” Russia has already officially claimed they do not intend to cross over into Ukraine with their armies, but the Kremlin also officially said the Russian Black Sea fleet did not issue a war ultimatum even though many independent journalists heard it blaring over megaphones with their own ears. While Russia’s nuclear weapons are unlikely to target the United States any time soon, there remains another threat. Iran is still developing its nuclear programs, and now even Egypt is talking about developing nuclear weapons. All of this is backed by Russia’s nuclear technology. At this time, Blinken says the United States is focusing on waging economic warfare with Russia.
Russia has responded by working more closely with China, with the latter country buying up gold in large volumes. Some say the ultimate way to fight an economic Cold War would be to create a new gold-backed currency standard that could possibly replace the US dollar. China has also been working on divesting itself of US bonds so our $17.5 trillion in debt won’t effect them nearly as much in the long run. James Rickards agrees that World War 3 might be more of a paper fight than anything else: “Financial warfare is all we have…. Russia can fight back with their own forms of economic warfare. If the US does something more extreme, like freezing Putin’s assets, freezing Russian state assets, they will strike back. They can refuse to pay their dollar debt, they can freeze US assets, and they can do worse. They can unleash their hackers to take down the New York Stock Exchange. So no one wants to go there, no one wants to escalate.” Are you worried that even if World War 3 takes the form of economic warfare that the United States may lose due to its heavy federal debt? –Inquistr

  1. You don’t have to religious to see that we are in troubled times!

  2. This is grossly over-stated. The Ukrainian navy basically surrendered itself at Sebastopol! Even their single submarine failed to submerge, & make its way to safety in Odessa or Turkey. Now the Ukrainians field 35 year-old obsolescent armoured vehicles (equipment of that age is always hard to keep working continuously!) to restore order, operated by untrained crews, who promptly surrender to parties of separatists – many of whom are just local civilians.

This is why nothing is going the Western way in Eastern Ukraine at present – their servicemen’s hearts aren’t in it. After all, some have trained with, &/or known socially, the Russian army people there – who untruthfully claim to be Ukrainians & are semi-dressed as civilians. The Russians have planned this escapade for months, may be years. Meanwhile the West plays political correctness, disarms, & then throws hissy-fits when the Russian chess-master politicians & diplomats outwit them.

I know that a lot of interest has been on the tension between Russia and the Ukraine, as it should be. But we can’t forget about Iran. Iran and Russia have become quite friendly lately and that is very important. If you read Ezekiel 37-38, Gog is Russia and Persia is Iran. Together (along with some other nations) attack Israel to plunder (oil? gas?) and are utterly destroyed. Now, the reason that the Russia/Ukraine situation is important is that Russia is working towards being a superpower once again and they want all of their former land back. This all ties in together into a neat little bow just the way God says it will. Maranatha

If it happens everyone goes boom-boom!

  5. Dennis E. says:

We have an indifferent President to this situation. The country is in grave danger and it is being allowed to happen. Prepare to survive on your own without any help except from God.
This is far more dangerous than many realize.

How many wars are we suppose to have before the End of the Age?
Some are looking for Gog and Magog war before Psalm 83 war even taken place. Psalm 83 must take place first before Magog and Gog come into the picture. All Israel must be in the land first (whatever ‘all’ means) before Gog and Magog. I believe the Second Exodus will come after Psalm 83 war dust settle. Remember, Israel looted Egypt when the first Exodus took place. Likewise, in the Second Exodus they will loot the nations to bring with them goods back to Israel. This set the picture of Israel having much cattle and dwelling in cities without walls. Either the looting part will be true or that God will just bless them so much in the land that there will be an abundant of everything that make the enemies jealous. For such a blessing to take effect it may run through God’s 7 year cycle. For the pre-trip rapture people, this mean you have to wait at least another 10 years, if you haven’t already been rapture out.

Psalm 83 war could set off WWW 3, but not Gog and Magog. China could be fight Japanese and Russia could be figthing US. Who knows, we will have to wait and see how this all unfolds. Must endure to the End – that’s what I’ve been warned to do.

There is no such thing as world war three. There might be extinction of the human race by it’s own doing. (Some power crazed lunitic who has lost the plot) There is no such thing as world war three, because there is no window for a winner.
Outside of the super devistating bombs each country has, the results of their use, benifits nobody.
Odd that economic greed can prevent a worldwide cold war. Devistate a country, and you lose customers. Doing the peacock thing, and displaying how much military power you have, is becoming dated.
Display your technology however, is a very different thing. Technology is unstoppable. Unlike nuclear weapons that just kill everthing they can, technology has that new option, get past yourself, and someone somewhere will perfect your ideal iphone. And we must take care of them, otherwise we are left behind.
So what can go wrong? Civil unrest, everywhere. A bunch of people who are in a position to indulge in this new tech as it becomes available, and a bunch of people who struggle everyday just to live. A huge cavity may begin to appear, worldwide. And then oddly, yet again, technologh will be pitted against human spirit. Not the first time in history this has happened.
Bow and arrows were once the leading edge of technologh, then guns, cannons, bombs, nuclear bombs. Now it’s that piece of tech you carry around everyday, it sells, and that is where we are, and what makes economics exist in all it’s different forms today.
Take that away, and there will be lots of trouble.
